I’ve always been proud to be a Geordie girl… So when a customer asked us to create a ring inspired by Newcastle Upon Tyne, it was right up our street!
This Sterling Silver highly polished or satin finish band is laser engraved around the full band, with the most famous northeast landmarks, including:
The angel of the north
A contemporary sculpture of an Angel by Antony Gormley, located in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, England. Completed in 1998. It’s prime location, on a panoramic hilltop by the A1, the Angel of the North has become one of the most famous artworks in the region, and a sign your nearly home, for travellers heading back to the Northeast.
The Tyne Bridge
The most celebrated and iconic of the seven bridges crossing the River Tyne, linking the city of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and neighbouring town of Gateshead. The Tyne Bridge is probably most recognised for the annual Great North Run.
Newcastle Keep, A grade I listed castle, in the heart of Newcastle, built on the sight of an old roman fort, with a colourful history.
Greys Monument
A grade I-listed monument in the centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne, built in 1838, in recognition of Earl Grey, a local politician, who was the British Prime Minister from 1830 to 1834.
St. James Park
The home of Premier League club Newcastle United F.C. since 1892. This iconic football stadium, is the eight largest football stadium in England.
