An iconic monument and Grade II listed timber structure, situated in the heart of an award winning development designed by husband & wife team Wayne & Geraldine Hemingway. The welcoming cafe faces onto the river Tyne and protected mud flats and bird habitat. Located on the Keelman’s Way and part of the Coast 2 Coast, providing a unique stopping point for the many cyclists, walkers, tourists, neighbours and commuters that pass its doors.
The Staiths Cafe really is a northern hidden gem of a cafe/bar with a dramatic view! Perfect for summer days, social butterflies or a relaxing meal and stroll along the historic Dunston Staiths. Owned & ran by a lovely local couple Suzanne & Mark, it feels fitting that we, another husband & wife business have been invited to stock our handmade jewellery.
